With some of the top universities in the world, Canada and the US are two of the top destinations for international students. Although they share a border, there are some differences in how university life takes place in each country. Canada has a simpler application process, but the US has more universities to choose from.

Applications for the 2024 John M. Kerr Memorial Bursary are now open and will close on 30 June 2024. 

Successful applicants are notified in August, and awards are presented during the annual Coronation Ball, a yearly, themed, black-tie event thrown by the Imperial Sovereign Court of the Wild Rose (ISCWR), a non-profit orgnisation supporting the LGBTQ community in Alberta.
