Applications for Chevening Scholarships are now open for students from a range of countries looking to study in the UK. 

The Chevening Scholarships make up the UK government’s global scholarship programme. They are open to students from 160 countries, including China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Kenya and Malaysia. The number of scholarships available varies from country to country. 

The scholarships offer full financial support for students looking to study for a master’s degree at any UK university.

When Covid-19 emerged, I was still in my sophomore (second) year of university. It did not take long to realise that many aspects of my university experience were going to be impacted by the pandemic. Specifically, I knew that the traditional study abroad experience would no longer be feasible.

The results of the UK’s National Student Survey 2021 are in, offering insight into how Covid-19 has affected the university study experience.

About 330,000 students from hundreds of universities, colleges and other providers across the UK completed the 2021 National Student Survey. This is up from the 310,000 students who answered the survey in 2020.

Survey questions covered all areas of academic life, including the quality of teaching, feedback on work, and learning resources.
