The International Tourism industry urgently needs skilled and creative managers who: 1. Understand how to tackle sustainability challenges of tourism and its impact on societies; 2. Master different ways of critical thinking needed for solving complex problems; 3. Implement sustainable change integrating the perspectives of local residents, tourists, and service providers…to create a sustainable future of travel and tourism. Not just in Switzerland, but worldwide.

The Master in Management is offered by the Faculty of Economics of the Università della Svizzera Italiana situated in Lugano - Switzerland. This full-time study program comprises 120 ECTS spread over 4 semesters (the usual duration of 2 years) and is entirely offered in English.

Learn how to become an organisation’s best asset by successfully coordinating people, projects and resources. Acquire the skills to become an effective manager, while learning about management in the context of economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, sustainability, ethics, corporate social responsibility and globalisation. You will also get the chance to put theory into practice with an optional placement year.

This degree will prepare future managers to enter one of the most exciting and fast developing sectors worldwide. You will engage with many of the leading scholars internationally in the fields of information technology & tourism and sustainable tourism.
