If you are looking to study in the UK but aren’t sure if you are quite ready for the transition from high school to university, a foundation year might be the next step.

Most UK universities offer foundation years to international and domestic students to provide them with the opportunity to gain more study skills, develop their English language skills and improve their grades in order to boost their undergraduate university applications.

Successful applicants will receive their tuition paid in full until the minimum number of points for their degrees are completed. If you choose to study further points, you might need to look into added funding options. The scholarship excludes overseas student health cover, accommodation and living costs.

Germany is a popular study-abroad destination, not least because 16 German states abolished tuition fees for both domestic and international undergraduate students at all public universities in 2014.
