Biomedical engineering is an innovative field that strives to improve the quality of life through cutting-edge technologies that enhance healthcare and support economic growth worldwide. At the Graduate Institute of Nanomedicine and Medical Engineering (GINME), we specialize in the integration of nanotechnology and advanced manufacturing processes for medical applications, which has proven successful in clinical translations and industrial development.

GIBMTE is a dynamic and internationally recognized graduate institute with a multidisciplinary approach to education. Our English-taught program encompasses a range of fields including biomedical materials, tissue engineering/regenerative medicine, medical device development, drug delivery systems, nanotechnologies, and bioprocessing of biologicals for therapeutic and clinical applications.

At our program, we strive to create a rich interdisciplinary learning experience by combining expertise from a variety of fields, including molecular/cancer biology, animal disease models, aging research, proteomics, and structural biology. Our focus is on discovering clinical biomarkers in key fields such as oncology, neuroscience, reproductive medicine, and regenerative medicine.

To meet the increasing demand for personalized patient care using cell/stem cell-based therapy, TMU established the Research Center of Cell Therapy and Regeneration Medicine (TMU-CCTRM) and a Good Tissue Practice (GTP) Laboratory. Faculty members and researchers from five departments across the College of Medicine and College of Medical Science and Technology contribute their diverse expertise to the program, providing graduate students with unique learning opportunities to develop their experimental and practical skills.

University fairs are exciting and busy. The best way to get the most out of your time at one is to prepare in advance. You might find that you have a limited amount of time with each university or college representative, so there are some questions that it would be useful for you to prepare first.

- What subject(s) do you want to study?
- When do you want to start your course?
- Do you have any thoughts on the career you might want to pursue?

My name is Anneshwa Dey and I am from a small town in India called Ranchi. I grew up in a joint family in which my uncle and father own a telecommunications business together.

That is where I was first introduced to electronics and circuit boards. I vaguely remember that we used to assemble the LED moving light in our home, and I was always fascinated by the magic of the small integrated chip that goes into the boards.
