An online platform has been launched to help international students, PhD candidates and researchers prepare to study abroad in France.

The platform, known as the Online Welcome Desk, offers a detailed and personalised road map for students to complete the steps required to move to France. The platform was previously called the E-International Welcome Office.

The platform can find and tailor the administrative journey for each individual based on their specific circumstances by drawing from a secure and reliable database of information.

Germany is the best-value study destination, according to analysis by Moneytransfers.co.uk.

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships programme is aimed at students who are due to study a doctoral programme in health research, natural sciences and/or engineering, or social sciences and humanities in Canada.

The scholarship supports students who are engaged in research that is relevant to addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, such as climate change, improved health outcomes and poverty reduction.

The Pinnacle Foundation is an Australian organisation that supports LGBTQIA+ students with funding and mentorship to go to university. 

Scholarships are awarded to students who are looking to pursue full-time degrees at public institutions of higher education in Australia. 

Applicants must be either Australian citizens or permanent residents and must be aged between 18 and 27.

Undergraduate students from all academic disciplines can now submit their research projects to the Global Undergraduate Awards (GUA) for the chance to have their work published and attend a three-day summit in Dublin.

Any undergraduate student in their final or penultimate year of study who have produced a piece of A-graded or equivalent coursework is eligible to submit their work to be considered for the Global Undergraduate Awards.

The Australia Awards Scholarships are now open for applications from international students until 1 May 2023. 

The scholarships provide funding for students from countries in Africa and the Indo-Pacific region to study at participating universities and technical and further education institutions in Australia. Eligible countries include Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Malaysia, Pakistan and many others.

The Australian government will be extending the Temporary Graduate Work visa (subclass 485) for more than 400 bachelor’s and master’s programmes and all PhD programmes from July 2023. 

This means undergraduates on any of these 400 programmes will now be able to stay and work in Australia for four years, rather than two years. Master’s students studying within the selected disciplines will be able to stay for five years, rather than three.
