The London Business School has been number one for four years in a row.
This year’s ranking includes 95 universities in total, a slight increase from the 91 ranked last year.
The 2017 top 10 is essentially a reshuffling of the top 10 from 2016, with the first and second place positions remaining the same.
Switzerland and Spain are the most represented countries in the top 10, each with two universities present.

For the first time this year, the FT has also produced a top 20 of the business schools in the Americas and Asia-Pacific region..
The top 10 of the Americas Ranking is dominated by universities from the US including University of Pennsylvania Wharton in first place.
However, the second half of the top 20 includes universities from Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica. INCAE Business School in Costa Rica was the top non-US business school, coming in at number 11.

China is the most represented country in the top 10 of the Asia-Pacific Ranking, taking six places out of 10. Only two other countries, Singapore and India, are represented in the top 10, with two universities each.
Further down the top 20, universities from Taiwan and South Korea also appear, as well as three universities from Australia.

The European Business School ranking is a composite ranking of the combined performance of Europe’s schools across the five main rankings published by the FT in 2017: MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management (MiM) and the two rankings of non-degree executive education programmes. The methodology for the Asia-Pacific and Americas Ranking was identical to that of the Europe ranking.
