The Monash University. Up to four students receive awards each year.
Successful applicants will receive their tuition paid in full until the minimum number of points for their degrees are completed. If you choose to study further points, you might need to look into added funding options. The scholarship excludes overseas student health cover, accommodation and living costs.
New undergraduates will also be invited to apply for places in Monash Minds. This is a leadership programme for first-year students at the university. The deadline for applications is the end of June.

All applicants must have already received offers to study on undergraduate or postgraduate courses at Monash University. This includes students studying in all disciplines except medicine or those enrolled on MBAs.
To apply for the scholarship, an international student must send information on the course they are due to study, copies of their results and certificates, passport details, English-language requirements and a A$100 (£53) applicant fee. Some students might receive a waiver code to remove the fee, which can also be entered during your application.
The selection criteria are based on academic achievement, statement and potential. Each student will be asked to complete a scholarship application statement in 500 words and prove their potential to be an ambassador for Monash University.
Recipients of the scholarship must keep a weighted average mark of 70 each term and take part in three marketing or scholarship promotional activities, including functions and networking events.
Ilaria, a scholarship recipient studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash said: “My scholarship has given me immense support financially, especially as an international student. I’m finally able to take part in extracurricular activities, complete an internship and focus on my research project, instead of having to work part-time. This has developed my technical skills for the medical field in future, and I also feel more self-confident in my abilities.”
