The Master Program in Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology (MLSB) aims to develop skilled professionals in laboratory medicine and biotechnology. Our program collaborates with clinical laboratories and industrial institutions to cultivate experts in biomedical research, developing innovative laboratory reagents and biotechnological products with potential to enhance medical technologies in the field of healthcare.

The School of Dentistry's Master Program is designed to offer exceptional students an unparalleled opportunity to gain expertise in cutting-edge research and advanced dental-related clinical care. Our program emphasizes a range of research areas, including oral cancers, CAD/CAM digital manufacturing, artificial intelligence, regenerative medicine, and dental-related clinical trials.

This Master's program, established in the College of Oral Medicine, is the only program of its kind dedicated to dental technology. Our comprehensive curriculum integrates professional theories from both the School of Dentistry and the School of Oral Hygiene, allowing students to develop a diverse range of skills. We provide dental professionals with knowledge of dental materials, 3-D printing, and CAD/CAM strategies.

Biomedical engineering is an innovative field that strives to improve the quality of life through cutting-edge technologies that enhance healthcare and support economic growth worldwide. At the Graduate Institute of Nanomedicine and Medical Engineering (GINME), we specialize in the integration of nanotechnology and advanced manufacturing processes for medical applications, which has proven successful in clinical translations and industrial development.

GIBMTE is a dynamic and internationally recognized graduate institute with a multidisciplinary approach to education. Our English-taught program encompasses a range of fields including biomedical materials, tissue engineering/regenerative medicine, medical device development, drug delivery systems, nanotechnologies, and bioprocessing of biologicals for therapeutic and clinical applications.

At our program, we strive to create a rich interdisciplinary learning experience by combining expertise from a variety of fields, including molecular/cancer biology, animal disease models, aging research, proteomics, and structural biology. Our focus is on discovering clinical biomarkers in key fields such as oncology, neuroscience, reproductive medicine, and regenerative medicine.

To meet the increasing demand for personalized patient care using cell/stem cell-based therapy, TMU established the Research Center of Cell Therapy and Regeneration Medicine (TMU-CCTRM) and a Good Tissue Practice (GTP) Laboratory. Faculty members and researchers from five departments across the College of Medicine and College of Medical Science and Technology contribute their diverse expertise to the program, providing graduate students with unique learning opportunities to develop their experimental and practical skills.

The Ph.D. Program in School of Pharmacy is a top destination for analytical brains willing to uncover new knowledge in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Students can select their specialization from a range of streams such as Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. In particular, students learn to employ a rational structure-based approach for the design and synthesis of small molecule cancer therapeutics.

School of Nursing offers Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) to prepare professional nurses with advanced knowledge to meet the health needs of people globally. With a strong mission to engage in interdisciplinary and industrial/academic collaboration in areas encompassing culture, society, and ecology, we develop an innovative, comprehensive, and extensive curriculum.

Ph.D. students enrolling to the Global Health and Health Security program (GHHS) can choose their research advisors across the TMU campus with expertise ranging from medicine, public health, health management, law, environmental health, data science, big data, and international health security. Research priorities of the program are twofold: infectious disease control and impact of global policy on chronic disease.
