Shirley Agostinho is a Professor of Educational Technology in the School of Education and leads the Centre for Higher Education Research, Innovation and Impact at the University of Wollongong. One area of interest is how learners, be they students or school or university teachers, can better understand their own practices to make informed decisions on how they can support their own learning. Shirley’s research focused on cognitive load theory has investigated how learners can apply cognitive load theory principles to support their learning.
