The MPH programme at Cave Hill is delivered from the Errol Walrond Building at the Clinical Skills Teaching Complex, located in the historic capital of Bridgetown, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The mandate of the MPH is to develop practitioners who are proficient in public health disciplines such as epidemiology, health promotion and public health leadership. Students will experience a collaborative learning environment as they interact with faculty and industry associates to combine theoretical approaches with field-based experiences and research opportunities. The MPH welcomes local, international and regional students with medical and non-medical backgrounds. Overseas students can spend a semester in Barbados as part of the campus Study Abroad programme, or apply to take the full degree in a multicultural learning environment.
