As Vice-Chancellor at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Graham is responsible for the leadership and management of the university within the principles laid down by the Board of Governors, of which he is an ex-officio member. He is a member of Universities UK, a Non-Executive Director of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, Chair of the Maritime Skills Commission, Deputy Chair of the Universities and Colleges Employers Association and Treasurer of MillionPlus.
