Sumeet Sekhon is a postdoctoral research and teaching fellow at the University of British Columbia. For her doctoral research, she examined the impact of self-help group based microcredit programmes on the lives of socially marginalised women in Rajasthan, India. Her research interests are: gender, caste, rural economic development, microcredit, and north India.
