Courtney Carr is a final year student, studying journalism at the University of Sheffield. Originally from London, Courtney was nominated for the Spirit of London Awards (SOLA) in media, in 2011, for her opinion pieces on the Tottenham Riots, and she received a certificate of appreciation from former London Mayor Boris Johnson. She has been active in blogging for almost three years, and has carried out various forms of journalistic work. She aspires to work in the fields of multi-media and broadcasting.
