María Rodríguez Domínguez is a career diplomat from Mexico. She holds an MA in global affairs from Yale University and an Msc in comparative politics from the London School of Economics. After joining the Mexican Diplomatic Service, Maria served as protocol officer in Mexico City, and later as head of the public affairs and cooperation section at the Consulate of Mexico in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has lived in seven countries throughout her life and speaks English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Maria is currently on leave of absence and is doing consultancy work in international development cooperation in Washington, D.C.
