StrikePlagiarism.com

StrikePlagiarism.com is a project of Plagiat.pl, a well-established plagiarism detection solution widely used in the EU, LATAM, North America, and other regions.

An important step in this direction has been taken in Moldova, where StrikePlagiarism was selected through a government tender process as the provider of the national anti-plagiarism system for the country's higher education institutions.

The implementation marks an important milestone in the development of a unified approach to originality verification across the Moldovan higher education system.

A unified approach to academic integrity

Academic integrity is most effective when institutions apply consistent standards and verification procedures. National initiatives help establish a common framework that supports universities while promoting fairness and transparency for students and researchers.

Under the project, the StrikePlagiarism.com system will be implemented across 16 universities in Moldova to support the verification of bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses.

By introducing a shared verification environment, institutions will be able to work within a common framework while maintaining their own academic regulations and review procedures.

Supporting modern academic verification

Higher education continues to evolve as digital technologies and generative AI become increasingly integrated into teaching, learning and research.

To address these developments, universities require verification tools capable of supporting a broad range of academic integrity challenges.

Through the implementation of StrikePlagiarism.com, participating institutions will have access to technologies including:

  • originality checking;
  • AI-generated content detection;
  • translated plagiarism detection;
  • stylometric authorship analysis.

Together, these capabilities support educators in evaluating academic work while providing comprehensive analytical information to assist institutional review processes.

Strengthening transparency and quality

The project has been launched with the objective of strengthening academic integrity, improving the transparency of verification procedures and supporting alignment with international standards for higher education and research quality.

As universities continue responding to new challenges associated with digital learning and artificial intelligence, consistent verification practices play an increasingly important role in maintaining confidence in academic qualifications and research outcomes.

A national academic integrity system also encourages collaboration between institutions by providing a shared technological foundation that supports common quality assurance objectives.

Supporting the future of higher education

The selection of StrikePlagiarism as the provider of Moldova's national anti-plagiarism system reflects the growing importance of coordinated academic integrity strategies at both institutional and national levels.

As higher education continues to embrace digital transformation, initiatives that combine advanced verification technologies with transparent academic processes will play an increasingly important role in supporting educational quality, research excellence and public trust.
