This course provides an academic foundation in accounting, the field known as the language of business. A highly valuable programme, you'll leave prepared with the necessary skills to excel in public accounting, managerial accounting, financial management and investing.
Emphasis in this course is placed upon both theoretical principles, concepts and practical applications. Additional professional courses provide students with the accounting education required to commence and continue to develop in a wide range of professional accounting careers.
The B.Accy. degree requires a minor, which may be fulfilled by completing the requirements as defined by any department that formally grants a minor. A student may use any of the required courses of the B.Accy. program to meet this minor requirement.
Admission of entering freshmen is based on the submission of a common application where you must provide your high school GPA or equivalent and either an SAT or ACT test score.
