Ph.D. Program in School of Nursing

School of Nursing offers Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) to prepare professional nurses with advanced knowledge to meet the health needs of people globally. With a strong mission to engage in interdisciplinary and industrial/academic collaboration in areas encompassing culture, society, and ecology, we develop an innovative, comprehensive, and extensive curriculum. We focus on nursing  care and geriatric care, provide consulting and training to relevant personnel when needed, and transform these pursuits into the country's nursing care policy research and practices. Based on the field of research, our laboratories are divided into three teams: exercise science in elderly and chronic disease science, cognitive behaviour and health promotion,  and bio-behaviour. Graduates are expected to demonstrate global engagement abilities with the support from our dual degree programs, international research collaboration, and courses co-instructed by faculty members of TMU and our partner universities.
