This attention for the big picture provides better understanding of the importance of good management and can potentially improve the performance of all kinds of organisations.

Career outcomes

Master's specialisation in Business Analysis and Modelling:

After graduating, most Business Analysis and Modelling students find employment at advisory bureaus or the strategic planning departments of large companies. Some are self-employed and run their own businesses, mostly in the area of consulting. A few go on to do a traineeship or pursue a PhD in Business Administration.

Master’s specialisation in Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Management:
As Business Administration graduates from Nijmegen, specialised in social processes in organisations and mastering the full range of research methods, our graduates are uniquely positioned to analyse complex problems and design interventions to give content and shape to the social responsibility of organisations.

Master’s specialisation in Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
Graduates from the Master's specialisation Innovation and Entrepreneurship are academically well trained, and practice-minded young professionals who are qualified for positions in a broad range of business functions. Students that have completed this specialisation will have acquired the knowledge, skills and competencies that enable them to act as innovators, innovation managers, and entrepreneurs. This means you could be ready to launch your own company or be an agent of change within an existing firm as a business development manager, product manager or innovation manager. You'll acquire skills to identify and structure ideas for innovation and business development and organise their implementation.

Master's specialisation in International Business:
International Business is a growing (student/labour) market. Economic globalisation and rapid developments in ICT have meant that nowadays many organisations operate on an international scale or at the very least interact with various stakeholders such as consumers, partner organisations, and institutions in other countries. It is therefore not surprising that many employers are seeking employees with a broad understanding of international business.

Master's specialisation in Marketing:
After graduating, most Marketing students find positions such as brand manager, product manager, management consultant, market researcher, and account manager. Our graduates are greatly valued by their employers for their analytical skills and sound understanding of business practices. They work for firms such as Google, Rabobank, D.E. Master Blenders, Mercedes Benz, Bol.com, and FrieslandCampina. In addition, many of our students start their own business. And a few go on to do a traineeship or pursue a PhD in Business Administration.

Master's specialisation in Organisational Design and Development:
After graduating, most Organisational Design and Development students find employment at consulting companies, governmental organisations as well as at national and international companies. You can think of management or consulting positions. Some students go on to do a traineeship or pursue a PhD in Business Administration.

Master's specialisation in Strategic Human Resources Leadership:
The Master's specialisation in Strategic Human Resources Leadership focuses on new insights into personnel and organisation issues. This involves, among other things, using the human resources concept and resource-based staff and organisation management. In addition, topical themes are addressed such as competence management, training and development management employability and career management, and (cultural) diversity management. Therefore, this Master’s specialisation is interesting for students who want to contribute to the development and implementation of personnel management in organisations.

Master's specialisation in Strategic Management:
As a manager and leader, you’ll be able to recognise the opportunities and restrictions presented by different markets and society, use analytical skills to identify relevant market and nonmarket strategies to cope with business risks and to respond to institutional and competitive pressures. After graduating, most Strategic Management graduates find employment as consultants, business analysts, financial controllers, policy makers, researchers and management trainee or managers in profit and non-profit organisations. A few go on to pursue a PhD in Business Administration.
